Dear Friends,

I have personally been involved with Cross Rhythms, which is a part of our COTN family, from its early days. The media training center which has been established will not only prepare students for the world of media but also for kingdom life. I will be serving as a part of the oversight for the discipleship aspects of the course; the students will be working through my teaching in the Advancing Kingdom Series, and as well will be equipped both by the Cross Rhythms team and key city leaders.

I am excited to see the establishment of the CR Media Training Centre that has been birthed through Jonathan & Heather Bellamy to equip a kingdom generation for the world of media. It's been a joy to walk with them as sons in this house.

Cross Rhythms Media Training Centre could be for you!

Cross Rhythms launched their media training centre in September 2012. Students get to work in a live broadcasting environment; gain an OCN qualification and receive discipleship training from Cross Rhythms and city leaders with decades of experience of outworking faith in a media and city context. Here's what their first student, Emily had to say:

"The course included a wide range of topics to study within the qualification which were practical and not exam driven. Alongside the course was the opportunity for discipleship. This offered the opportunity to learn about how the Kingdom of God works through media. One of my favourite units was about how to make a discussion programme. For this I had to research all about the role and then organised and ran a 30 minute live discussion with the Police Commissioner candidates. The course encouraged my passion for working in radio and I now know that it's what I want to do."
